New Transport Lines Set to Boost Instabul Property Values
A new Metrobus line from Istanbul's city centre to the popular suburb of Beylikdüzü is set to further boost the property prices of the area.
Beylikdüzü is one of the fastest growing areas of Istanbul, with almost 200,000 commuters living in the suburb. The new Metrobus will provide faster, easier access to the city centre, and this transport link is designed in anticipation of future growth to the area. Experts have predicted that the population could reach 1 million within 5 years, making properties under development such as No1 Knightsbridge highly desirable.
Demand for property in the Beylikdüzü suburb has caused property prices to rise steadily over the past few months, and an increase in transport connections to the city centre will ensure that this trend continues.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has committed 100 million Turkish Lira (about £50 million) to this specific Metrobus project which will include 10 new bus stop locations as well as underground stations and a central bus terminal within the Beylikdüzü suburb. This investment illustrates the governments appreciation of the value and potential of the area as a growing commuter hub.
Istanbul's residential property market is rising by circa 15-20% per annum and expected to continue at similar rates until 2015. To take advantage of this surging growth, utilize 70% LTV mortgages and benefit from a 7.5% guaranteed rental return for 2 years minimum; review one of our Istanbul Property Investments and download the Investor Report for further information.
